Haymarket Museum 2009

The Haymarket Museum, founded in 2002 by the Haymarket Historical Commission, is located in the historic Old Town Hall, built in 1883 as Prince William County's first two-level schoolhouse.

This website is a work-in-progress. As research is completed, or photos and other materials are shared, new information will be added.

Please visit us often! We hope that if you have memories of living in or near the town, this site will inspire you to contact us in order to share your memories and help document both the town and the greater Haymarket area.

There are two Civil War Trails signs located to the east of the Museum describing the 1862 burning of the town and the 1863 Battle of Haymarket.
